السلام عليكم

لقد اتيتكم النسخة الجديدة من برنامج PLAXIS V 9 والتي تحتوي كثتر من النماذج المطورة عن النسخة السابقةplaxis v 8 مثل دراسة تميع التربة Liquefaction soil and soil-structure interface .....

PLAXIS 2D V9 is a finite element package intended for the two dimensional analysis of deformation and stability in geotechnical engineering.

Geotechnical applications require advanced constitutive models for the simulation of the non linear, time dependent and anisotropic behaviour of soils and/or rock. In addition, since soil is a multi phase material, special procedures are required to deal with hydrostatic and non hydrostatic pore pressures in the soil.

Although the modelling of the soil itself is an important issue, many projects involve the modelling of structures and the interaction between the structures and the soil.

Plaxis is equipped with features to deal with various aspects of complex geotechnical structures. A brief summary of important features of the program can be found on the Features page.

PLAXIS 2D Version 8 and Vista
From the day Windows Vista was released plaxis announced that plaxis V8 is not compatible with Windows Vista. Practice showed that in a certain number of cases the combination of the two does work when using a special driver. Unfortunately the compatibility depends on a specific combination of hardware, software and settings which can not be generalised.
Therefore plaxis has to reinforce our earlier statement that plaxis V8 and Windows Vista are not generally compatible. And we advice to run plaxis V8 on Windows XP.
Starting with plaxis 2D Version 9, that is available now, compatibility with Windows Vista is taken care of.
